Killer lightbrite!

Thu Feb 1, 2007, 11:53 PM
Wow. How scared IS our neighbor to the south?

I can see it now:

It was horrible! He dropped this brown leather device (wallet) and got off the train! I knew immediately he was going to kill us all!

...Hours later the bomb squad 'defused' the wallet. The man who lost it was dissapointed to find that he faced criminal charges leading to two separate five-year sentences. One in jail, and one in a lineup at the DMV waiting for a new driver's license to replace the one destroyed by the bomb squad.

------

The state that the american public has reached is more terrifying than any terror threat. There is a country of 300 million scared and incredibly well-armed people who believe they are backed into a corner. Whatever happens to cross their line of sight might be the new great threat to the American Way.

I for one plan to keep my head low for a while, not to mention stay the hell away from the US until it gets its head on straight again.

Sept 11 was a terrible tragedy. For the victims, for their families and for the nation. However there simply is NOT a high terror-related death rate on US soil. Smoking, suicide, choking and lightning strikes all sit above terrorism for number of times listed as 'cause of death' in America.

Unfortunately, since then people have forgotten that most men with turbans don't want to kill you. In fact most of them are nice people who follow a different religion than you. A religion that is no more intrinsically violent than christianity. A religion that comes with far cooler hats. The pope only WISHES his hat was that awesome.

Don't get me wrong. I admide the courage of the soldiers who have faith in their country and are willing to fight and die for it. I believe however that their efforts in Iraq have served only to stir a hornets' nest. One which would have been best left alone.

The take home message here is America is going nuts and it's rather scary. Personally, I plan to avoid going there entirely until something changes. I have a big enough mouth that I'm sure I'd quickly disappear were I to go south of the border, and I CERTAINLY wouldn't want the USA on my passport if I were travelling anywhere else in the world!

There are sane americans out there. I'm not trying to say that you're all beer-swilling gun-toting rednecks. Yes, you have your share of those, but we've got plenty of them in Canada too! So for those of you who aren't afraid of the lightbrite, speak up and do something about your country, before the fear of a threat to your freedom causes you to lose it by default!!

Have you ever had a dream, that you were so sure was real? What if you were unable to wake from that dream? How would you know the difference between the dream world and the real world?

What you know you can't explain, but you feel it. You've felt it your entire deviant life, that there's something wrong with the story. You don't know what it is, but it's there, like a splinter in your mind, driving you mad.

You take the blue pill, the story ends. Your browser closes and you believe whatever you want to believe. You take the red pill, you stay in wonderland. And, I show you how deep the rabbit hole goes.

I offer only the truth, nothing more.

Take: The Red Pill
Take: The Blue Pill

Fella Point Right spyed, nobody has ever done this before.

that was an interesting answer, but overly complicated. the equation could be solved using only one variable. it was answered on the Deviants section of the forum. Thanks for trying though.
